Aware of the challenges it faces, the organisation is committed to:
- Producing a range of quality wines designed to meet the needs of national and international markets, consistently associated with a leading brand;
- Engaging with the communities in the regions where its assets are located (Alentejo, Douro, Vinho Verde and Lisbon), seeking to attract, retain and develop talent;
- Ensuring regular internal communication of best practices in food safety, environmental protection, and occupational health and safety, ensuring that all employees have the appropriate skills and conditions to perform their duties;
- Fostering autonomy, critical thinking and continuous learning among all employees;
- Promoting relationships of trust and loyalty between employees and other stakeholders, guided by the values of ethics, honesty and fairness;
- Fulfilling commitments made to customers and other stakeholders, particularly regarding food safety and sustainability, ensuring compliance with product specifications and authenticity requirements;
- Enabling suppliers to meet mandatory supply, food safety and sustainability requirements, by fostering effective communication and conducting regular performance assessments;
- Ensuring external communication channels that enable information to flow efficiently between all relevant parties;
- Improving the efficiency of production processes while ensuring compliance with applicable food safety legislation;
- Adopting climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies, preserving the biodiversity of the ecosystems in which we operate, minimising our impact on natural resources and acting responsibly;
- Promoting a food safety culture to improve the performance and consistency of the Integrated Food Safety and Sustainability Management System (SIGSAS), as well as the company's reputation;
- Promoting the continuous improvement of the SIGSAS by encouraging curiosity and the ongoing pursuit of new solutions and opportunities.
