Lisbon’s pride and joy
An historical estate dating back to the XV century. With a total area of 75 hectares, Quinta de Pancas has over 60 hectares of vineyards located 35 kilometers east of the Atlantic Ocean. The vines are planted on a landscape of mountains, hills and valleys protected by Serra de Montejunto.
From this unique terroir are produced intense, complex and elegant wines.
Alenquer
Quinta de Pancas was established in 1495. It is located next to the village of Pancas (Alenquer) 45 kilometers northwest of Lisbon. The lands of Alenquer extend between the Serra de Montejunto and the flatlands of the right bank of the Tagus river.
Vasco Costa & Francisco Garcia
Vasco and Francisco are two proud Lisboetas. They share a great passion for wine and this unique terroir that produces some of the finest Cabernet Sauvignons and Chardonnays in Portugal.
A great legacy they preserve and develop with authentic devotion.
Together they lead winemaking and viticulture at Quinta de Pancas under the leadership and wisdom of Chairman Winemaker David Baverstock and COO Vasco Rosa Santos.
