Where Douro wine was born
Home to the first ever Douro DOC wines. On the hills overlooking the Douro River the vineyards grow in perfect harmony with the surrounding forest. The ancient vines and the unique terroir, offer exquisite conditions to produce fine Douro wines.
The steep slopes and the location in the Baixo Corgo make this place unique.
A terroir where great wines have been produced for the last 50 years, full of elegance and freshness.
Cidadelhe
Located between Mesão Frio and Peso da Régua, Quinta do Côtto is in a privileged situation. With vineyards surrounding the house, there are different exposures always on schist soils.
Very old vineyards, many of them over 100 years old and planted between 120 and 430m above sea level. A sight worth witnessing only 90kms from Porto city center.
